Advanced Training in Hybrid Manufacturing: From Metal Printing to 5-Axis Milling

Hohentwiel-Gewerbeschule Singen (HGS), a German vocational technical school and college, has partnered with SolidCAM Additive, a renowned 3D printing service provider in German-speaking countries, to develop a training program for teachers of metal part manufacturing and metal production technology at industrial technical schools in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The program aims to provide educators with a comprehensive understanding of hybrid manufacturing processes and their advantages. The Desktop Metal Studio System BMD 3D printer is used in the training because it is safe for classrooms and easy to use, allowing the school to quickly start printing metal parts.
